Just for fun, I decided to actually do the exercises while watching this video. It wasn't easy (partly because I'm a man), but it was fun recreating the experience of a viewer of the time. Are there any other extant/preserved episodes of this interesting series?

you can't move like that in a corset. Believe it or not there were a lot of women who were built like that. Type in the name gina lollobrigida looking for the movie solomon and sheba. Even today - lookup the name rachel mclish. Today's skinny look is designed to appeal to women who are to lazy to exercise

Ah no she is not in a looney bin. She is doing very well living part time in Denver, CO and part time in New Zealand. She is in her 70's and looks better than most people half her age.

Debbie Drake worked for my father who owned a gym on e185st in Cleveland. She managed the female part of the gym which was a novel idea in 1960 or so. I met her once or twice (I was 7 or 8), I just knew she had been on TV and thought that was cool.

Americans as a class of people appear to be very stupid and mean spirited. Not a healthy society. Debbie is beautiful and great. Most of the people saying nasty things are probably big fat slobs like the majority of Americans. The constant hatred and negativity emanating from Americans really brings one down.
