The conference was hosted by the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore, October 15-18.

That's the thing, there is no reasonable explanation for a god. Until there is he / it does not exist. And when I say reasonable explanation I mean plausible scientific evidence that is tested rigorously. Not just a personal justification which is most likely where you are coming from.
