I've played this. I knew someone with a 3do. I was an excellent addictive game for its time, and I wish there was a PC or emulation version.

Oh the 90's...

I remember when N64 turned up in 97 during my time in UK, someone I know in my college/6th form bought the new released N64 for over 200 quid before they dropped at the price the very next week! He was surely pissed.

Yes, it had some...
Street Fighter II (which is according to many THE best SF II port)
Need for Speed
Road Rash
Return Fire
Out of this World\Another World
Wing Commander IV
Star Control
Autobahn Tokio
Alone in the Dark \ AitD 2
Battle Chess
Belzerion
Battle Sport
Bladeforce
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S
To many to list, actually...lol

Well if it's any consollation, I bought mine about ten years ago from a pawn shop for £3. I'd have been pissed if I paid full price. But Panasonic priced themselves out of the 3DO ever possibly being a popular machine until it was too late.
They had ads over here "Don't buy a Dodo, buy a 3DO" Irony :D
LarryBundyJr - 12.10.2010 20:40:28
Oh, I dont' think you'll see a gaming show on regular TV for quite some time sadly :(
ahshorn - 12.10.2010 19:09:59
I miss the "You're not very good at this are you" at the end of videos.

Well, I got the idea from this game, and when I did this, I did an impression of an obnoxious TV-salesman. Doing X-mas radio specials are so much fun!
hanchiman - 12.10.2010 15:44:31
Well, thank god, I was a penniless teen then! Because if I was an adult with a disposable income during the early 90's I might have bought a junk like 3DO.
Beside here in Sweden, back in the 90's they didn't really import much consoles except major ones like Mega Drive and SNES (Jaguar was released in limited number but still hard to find). Sony Playstation was released in limited number in the early 95, but started to released en mass when it start to be sucessful in late 96.
LarryBundyJr - 12.10.2010 15:30:28
What do you think now you've seen it?
LarryBundyJr - 12.10.2010 15:30:06
Yeah, it had some great games. "Return Fire" was it's Super Mario/Halo though AWESOME game.
LarryBundyJr - 12.10.2010 15:29:25
Lol, really?
schoolfilmer - 12.10.2010 15:18:01
I did that "Invisible Dogtoys" ad when I was on the local radio. Fun times!
daveKoRnfan - 12.10.2010 14:15:48
lol "your not very good at this are you" came from this i love the fake ads
NotPotter - 12.10.2010 14:14:34
road rash, need for speed, return fire and decent versions of fifa and madden. Not a great many, but some.
ASecondOpinion1501 - 12.10.2010 13:41:41

SqueeksoAo - 12.10.2010 12:56:13
did the 3DO even have any worthwhile games? I forget
hanchiman - 12.10.2010 12:44:47
I never knew what the name of this game was, only saw a screenshot from an old advert of CVG magazine...
