The idea of Atlantis came about because it was mentioned thousands of yrs ago in Timateus and Critias written by the great and intelligent Plato which I bet you have no clue who he is since U.S people such are yourself are mostly dumb and cannot even map countries in Europe.. yet here they come to comment if Atlantis ever existed.. there is no way of knowing for sure !
