i have begged for tubal ligation, but my dr refused, saying that i shouldnt worry, that i have nice broad hips for childbirth and after my husband and i had agreed to never have children. this turned out to be bull shit, i couldnt birth my 9pound 11 ounce son without being cut down the side of my rectum, after asking repeatedly for a csection. Dr's believe that they know best, they dont. always always get a second or third opinion, its your body, stand up for it.

There is mention in the Bible in Exodus about the midwives using birthing stools. The concept of squating for birth is definitely not new.

@tinat30135 A vaginal birth is completely natural therefore a woman is designed to do it. It does not mangle your vagina LOL!!! I've had 2 beautiful, healthy children via normal, natural delivery and my vaginas fine! Ask my husband!
